After studying mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University, followed by a doctorate, Konrad Kerres began his career in the waste management industry.
In a large corporation, he subsequently held various management positions in technology and project management. Afterwards he was responsible as managing director for a waste management company with several locations.
Since 2007 Konrad Kerres has been the Managing Director of LIG and has played a decisive role in its strategic orientation.
